After 5 weeks of Spanish school our heads felt like they were ready to explode....not really, but it was a good time to visit friends on the other side of the lake in San Lucas Tolimán. In the pueblo they were celebrating the feast of Saint Luke with a special Mass, processions, and a carnival. To top it all off, it was also a special birthday celebration for our friend "FoFo" Alfonzo.
Liz and I had a wonderful time visiting with our special family and playing with the kids.
The Mass with the Bishop was very special.
They also had multiple processions through the town.
On a side note, we also had a meeting scheduled to see a house that we were thinking about renting. Well, the person didn't show and the meeting never happened. However, as usual, we are reminded that our plans are not always God's plans and something unfolded over the weekend that might just be a great idea for us, and for someone else, so we are going to see where that goes over the next few days or weeks. God is so good!
