Other than our children and my brothers (once), we really haven't facetimed (Video Chatted) with anyone else.
Today out of the blue, we called our family in North Dakota, Cousin Nancy and family, and had a wonderful talk for just a few minutes. Sorry Monica, I cut your face off!
We are learning in Guatemala that Family is so important. When times are tough, or when you need to feel loved and supported, family is the place to turn. Maybe it is because so many here have nothing, and all they have is family, but family is truly everything here. Their lives here, the Guatemalans, consist of helping each other everyday. It is so beautiful to watch and experience.
Nancy, Glen, and kids, we love you guys and it felt so good to see and talk to you. (Sorry we missed you Glen)
