What a great experience shopping in a small town without Malls or Department Stores. The street markets have almost anything you can think of from electronics to dolls, but most are concerned with food. When you ask anyone what they are looking forward to the most for Christmas, they usually respond, "Tamales." Most families gather on the 24th in the evening and have a special dinner with Tamales and visit well into the night.
