Half Way Through Spanish School

After a month now (Well Almost) Liz and I have settled in at our school and the tranquil lifestyle here. Our days begin early as the sun wakes us up. You could say we are up with the fishermen.

In the quiet of the morning there is time for prayer, usually followed by:

some last minute unfinished homework.

We then walk down a short path and have our lessons in the garden and along side the lake.

After school we get something to eat. We don't have a kitchen so to keep the cost down we eat out 1 meal a day at the hotel and then snack for breakfast and dinner. We are getting use to being a little hungry throughout the day, not so sure how healthy that is but both Liz and I are loosing weight which is a good thing.

After a siesta we begin homework. We usually have anywhere from 2-4 hours a night of homework. Our teachers are different, mine likes to have me write stories and translate from English into Spanish. I feel very blessed, both our teachers are very good teachers, but most especially they are very nice people with strong Christian values and morels.

It doesn't take long and the sun sets.
Both Liz and I look at each other and say,
 "Where did the time go?"

I have become proficient with my electronic racket in the killing of all things flying, and after my nightly chore we are then off to bed.

Well, that is our story, at least for now, and I am sticking to it! :)

All kidding aside, it has been a great four weeks of slowing down, study, and learning to live with much less and simply. Can't wait for the next four weeks and then to see what God has waiting for us after Spanish school in regard to mission.

Thank you for the prayers, support, and nice comments and emails.

Good night and God keep you!
